The production and use of electricity from renewable sources is an important pillar to enable the energy transition, in line with the objectives set by the Paris Agreement.

This is particularly relevant for electrivorous companies, which have the ethical duty to contribute to the achievement of this fundamental goal.

We are proud to announce that, starting from 2025, all the electricity purchased by the Tecniplast, IWT and Tecnilabo Italian companies comes from renewable and certified sources with the concerned Guarantee of Origin from our electricity providers.

The Guarantee of Origin is the only instrument recognized by the European Union that certifies and specifies the origin of electricity generated from renewable energy sources.

Our current and planned installations of photovoltaic panels further contribute to minimizing our environmental impact by self-producing green electricity and thus reducing purchase requirements.

These are a concrete demonstration that sustainability for us is a matter of substance, as unequivocally expressed by our Business Code of Conduct.
