A key theme for us this year, as it was last, remains the strength of the relationships we nurture both within the industry and with our wider community. We take great pride in continuing to build new partnerships while deepening the long-standing friendships that have shaped our success. Our focus has also expanded to include the younger generation of technicians and facility staff, who represent the future of our industry.

At Tecniplast, we are excited to support and guide these new relationships as they grow into lasting collaborations,just as we have with so many of you over the past twenty-plus years.

I’m excited to share the fantastic success of our participation in Lab Innovations 2024, where we proudly introduced Tecnilabo to the industry. This marks a significant milestone for Tecniplast as we expand our product offering and strengthen our commitment to innovation within the laboratory sector.

Tecnilabo represents the next chapter in our journey, bringing cutting-edge solutions that will help drive progress in laboratory operations worldwide. The response from attendees at the event was overwhelmingly positive, and we are thrilled by the enthusiasm and interest in Tecnilabo’s products and services. We are confident that Tecnilabo will play a pivotal role in enhancing laboratory efficiency, sustainability, and scientific advancements for our clients.

Like many businesses, 2024 brought challenges, from fluctuating energy costs to ongoing geopolitical uncertainty to a new government in the UK. Although the global supply chain has improved since the pandemic in the last couple of years, the rising cost of materials and energy continues to affect many in our industry. However, with our manufacturing base in Europe, we are uniquely positioned to offer advantages such as faster delivery times, reduced carbon footprint, quicker access to spare parts, and expert support directly from our team in Italy.

Despite the challenges, we’ve seen incredible support from the industry, with Tecniplast being awarded the majority of key technical projects, large-scale installations, and deployments throughout the year. This trust means a great deal to us, and we are committed to continuing to earn it. With a dedicated team of Project Managers and over 30 engineers, we ensure that we deliver on our promises—on time, every time. Tecniplast UK’s 60-person strong team is focused on providing an exceptional level of service and support to our clients.
